We took the kids to Chuck E Cheese for Jared's Birthday. Drew tries so hard to keep up with his big sister and brothers. Here's just a taste of that!

Having two babies may have it's challenges. But I have loved every minute of it. In fact, I'm ready for another one, but Gavin says NO! I can't believe that these sweet babies are growing so fast. They are so much fun to have in our home!

We got his score!

I have to be the proudest wife in the world. Gavin did awesome! All of his hard work paid off and I am so proud of him. We know where he plans on applying and know that he should get in with his GPA and LSAT score. We also know that they offer scholarships and hoping that we will be one of the recipients. The next 3 1/2 years are going to be fun as he is in school, working and being a Dad. But we know it will pay off in the end. I told Gavin that the first major purchase I would like when he finishes school is a front load washer and dryer! I am looking so forward to less laundry.....oh the anticipation!

Not what I expected!

A couple of weeks ago a member of the bishopric asked to come over and visit with Gavin and I. We always know a calling awaits us when they call! After a few minutes of visiting, Roger asked how I would feel about serving in the primary presidency as Secretary. I didn't know what to say and thought, they must have called the wrong person, as I am so not cut out for this calling. But I willing took the calling as I know the Lord knows something I don't. I felt a sense of humility. He wouldn't tell us who the president was and said I had to wait until Sunday, so Gavin and I took bets. Boy were we both wrong. I couldn't ask to serve with a better group of sisters. They are amazing and I feels overwhelmed to be able to serve with them. I don't feel in any way shape or form adequate.

I am excited that I will have the opportunity to be in the primary with our kids. Now they have to be on their best behavior. And the kids have no excuse to not make it to their activities!

The test is over...

Gavin took his LSAT yesterday. He left the house at 7:00am and didn't walk in the door until 3:00pm. His one fear came to pass as there were two sections with Logic Games, which means one doesn't count, but which one is it? He doesn't feel that is his best area and was hoping that one of the other sections would be doubled up on to maximize his strengths. Oh well! He came home and was emotionally and mentally exhausted. He has studied really hard. We now wait three weeks until we get his score....does he take it again, or do we start applying to schools. We have created a list of all the schools that we think he will apply to, now it's just a waiting game. I am really proud of him for all of his hard work. It really hit both of us hard on Saturday after he came home that this is really happening and school is just around the corner. We feel so blessed!

The kids are doing great. Zoe is in band and choir. Liam loves his teacher and comes home with great stories. Jared and Austin are both thriving in first grade and love school. Drew just cracks us up with his cuteness! And Ethan is starting to be really alert to his surroundings. Both he and Drew have been sick, but I prefer it being together to get it over with. Ethan will be 4 months in a little over a week and his weight is at 12 lbs 14 ounces. He's a peanut, as is Drew.

Gavin just transferred to a new Eyemaster's in Goodyear, so his commute time is only about 7 minutes compared to 25 minutes. It's a whopping 8 miles round trip! We love it and the store is beautiful. He is very much missed at Arrowhead, but feel this move is what we need with school around the corner.

Life is good and we couldn't feel anymore blessed!

It's Official.....

Today we paid for Gavin's LSAT for October 4. For us this is a big deal...this is the beginning of a very long ride! There are so many mixed emotions that we feel, but most of all anxious to get it over with. Gavin studies like a mad man! I know he'll do great!!!!
