I haven't blogged in over two years.  I guess you can say time has slipped through my fingers!  My goal is to blog at least once a week.  Let's see if I can keep to it.....

Drew Graduates from Pre-school Part 1

Drew is graduating from pre-school.  Well....for the first time.  He'll be doing it again next year also.  We've decided to hold him back as we just don't feel he's ready to enter the crazy world of kindergarten!  But if I don't mind saying, he is the cutest graduate I have ever seen!

A Little Behind

Our lives have been a little crazy so I am catching up on Deli Beans monthly photo. As you can see she is as happy as ever. She brings so much joy to our family. This month while she was in the hospital (Post to come) she learned to say "bye bye." She likes to wave to her self as she does it. She'll be going in tomorrow for her well check where I'll post her 10 month stats.

How Sweet It Is......

This is my beautiful step daughter Zoe. I love this girl more than she will ever know! She has been a part of my life since she was 6 years old. Having her as the oldest is such a blessing. She isn't fond of having FIVE brothers, but she takes it in stride. Well....most of the time. I love to spoil her rotten and do all the girly things with her that moms and daughters do. We just found out that she made JUNIOR VARSITY cheer-leading! Say what???? She's in High School? When did this happen???? We are so excited and proud of her!!!!

I am so proud of Zoe and the young woman she is. She is an amazing sister. She knows how to make anyone in the room feel special and not afraid to reach out to others. She is super creative and so very talented.

Zoe, I love you so very much! There is nothing I love more than to have you as not only my daughter but also my friend! We are so proud of you Zoe Zo Zo!

7 months old

My baby girl is getting bigger every day. This month has been a TON of firsts. She has learned to sit up, army crawl, clap and shake her head no. It was fun having Gavin's kids here to see some of those firsts. I believe it helps the bonding between them since they only get to their siblings in person once every 3-4 months. All of the kids are super protective of her. She is going to have a hard time trying to date when she's older! She is eating like a champ and starting the hang of cheerios and other small foods she can grasp and eat herself. She only fusses when she's hungry and tired. She truly is our easiest baby. Although there seems to be more drama when she is teething than when the boys were teething. She got her first tooth on the 23rd of November and her second on the 14th of December. So far two bottom teeth. She is our earliest in getting teeth. We love her so much!

Adele got her first tooth on Thanksgiving and her second just yesterday. She is a grumpy guss while they are breaking through. Something I am not used to with my boys. She gets so emotional and I LOVE it. It cracks me up. I guess this is what's to be expected with a girl.

Austin and Adele

I LOVE how much Austin loves his baby sister. He is so sweet with her. The other night I was busy running around the house and this is what I found when I got done. Last night as I was getting every one's jammies together for bed I went to put Adele's jammies on and change her diaper. Austin said, "Mom, I did it for you!" and it was a POOPY diaper! I told him he didn't have to do that. He said he wanted to do it. You can tell that these two were very close spirits before this life.

I can't even begin to say how grateful I am that my children all have a very close relationship. It just shows how aware the Lord is aware of our sweet family.

Drew's Thanksgiving at Pre-school

Drew had an awesome time at his Thanksgiving party at school. They made friendship stew and baby pumpkin pies. He was quick to tell me that his pie was made of "cweam and banilla." I love my Drewbee! He LOVES going to school! I feel extremely blessed to have him in such a fantastic pre-school. His teacher, Miss Becca, does an amazing job with the kids. You can tell she genuinely loves those little rugrats!

Adele rolling

5 months old

Yes I am a rotten mother! I lost Adele's 5 months sign and I haven't posted in forever. But based on all the wonderful lack of comments, one reads this anyways. So I won't feel too horrible! :)

Adele is growing SO quickly. This month she has started on solids. She especially LOVES mango's. She is rolling from front to back and back to front. I put her on a blanket to play with toys and ran outside to get Drew and Ethan to turn off the water in the backyard and the next thing I know she has some how managed to get herself about 3 feet from where I put her. I know how she got there, but I can never manage to catch her. She is as happy as they come! I love my baby girl so much.

4 months old

I can't believe it either! We had her 4 month appointment today. She is too precious for words. She if right where she is suppose to be developmentally, but hey, is she wants to take her time and stay little for a while, I really won't be sad! Here are the stats:

Weight: 12.5 pounds (25th%)
Height: 24.5 inches (50th%)
Head: Who knows, I never pay attention to that one any ways! :)

Yup, our little baby bean is still just that, a bean...tiny! I've had to supplement because she just isn't getting enough from me. The formula has been causing her to be extra gassy, so we'll be switching that around. I was also told that it may be time to give her rice cereal....say what????? Solids? Already? I'm not sure about that. I'm going to have to think about that one for a couple days. :)

Tomorrow is packing day for Utah. My awesome cousins, Rachel and April will be driving with me. I am SO excited. We always have so much fun together. The boys are especially excited as Drew is convinced that big foot lives by Nan and Papa's house and he wants to go to the forest. Ethan is still too little to understand except that we're going. And of course Austin, is all ready to see his cousins. He's Mr. Social Butterfly in Utah. He'll also spend some time with Roxi and Cyril. Hey, a little spoiling never hurts a kid.

So Gavin will be flying solo for a week. Which I think he's OK with as he'll get a ton done for school. Although he will be missed.

3 months old....

I LOVE this little girl! HELLO....How could you not. OK, so this is going to sound super cheesy, but I cry almost daily at how Thankful I am to have my sweet Adele! Of course, I ADORE my boys. But having my very own sweet adorable, beautiful most precious daughter! Is she spoiled...YES! Will I stop....NO! I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for saving this little girl for our family for the very end. He knew that she was needed at this exact time on this earth. I love you my precious Adele!

I LOVE this little boy!!!!! I adore him! He is the busiest little thing! But he sure gives the best hugs and kisses! He and I have been sick this week, but it certainly hasn't slowed him down. He is so full of life. And he seriously says the funniest things. I can't imagine our family without this little guy!

Drew and His Angry Face

I've been meaning to post about this for some time now. A while back Drew came up to me with this look on his face. I asked him what was wrong and he said this was his angry face. I asked him if he'd been working on it, and with a huge smile on his face he replied, YES! This kid cracks me up!

My sweet Baby Girl is growing. She is up more during the day and asleep more at night! Woohooo!!!! She is adored by every member in this family. My Grandma Harris used to always say, babies come with their own love. This couldn't be more true. Gavin and I have never felt more complete as a family. She is such a huge blessing and worth EVERY ounce of pain I went through to get her here. I would do it 100 times over again! Even on date night she stays with us. Not that I don't trust a babysitter, but I can't stand the thought of being away from her more than a few minutes. Knowing that she is my only blood daughter, I want to take in every tiny little thing I can. I just love you Adele! Thank you for being a part of this family! You are truly one of my greatest gifts!

Six Years and Counting....

Its hard to believe that six years ago today I married Gavin. That was one of the happiest and greatest days of my life. I look at the kids and how much they've grown and just can't believe how fast time has gone by. I am overwhelmed and thankful that the Lord as blessed me with Gavin. He truly is an amazing individual that makes me want to be a better person each and every day! I love you G-Man. You are one of the Greatest blessings in my life. Here's to a lifetime and eternity together!

Snuggle time with sister

Every morning Ethan comes into our bedroom. And every morning we have the same routine. First he asks for a sippy, then he crawls into bed and snuggles with his baby sister. He talks to her and tells her how much he loves her. This is as soft as it gets with her, because the rest of the day I have to keep an eye on him that he's not trying to be too big of a helper to mommy or loving his sister to death. I know his intentions are in the right place! I'm just grateful he loves Deli as much as he does!
